John has more than 30 years of experience in taxation. Throughout his career, John has worked with businesses and their owners to maximize the tax benefits relating to their transactions and annual filings. John has successfully managed clients’ tax controversy issues with federal and state taxing authorities. He has consulted with practitioners in foreign jurisdictions to resolve cross-border issues impacting both the domestic and foreign tax situations. Clients have benefited from the mergers and acquisitions consulting services provided by John in structuring transactions and due diligence services.

Clients working with John include start-up companies with no revenues to enterprises with $1 billion of revenue, companies owned both domestically and in foreign countries, and privately owned companies and SEC registered public companies. He works with entrepreneurial owners, C Suite level executives, and retired high net worth individuals.

John received his Master in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University at Fresno. John is an active CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
